My Skincare Routine

Glad to be back! I know right it’s been almost two years since my last post. Well, it’s because I almost forgot that I have a blog (phew~). So, in this post I want to talk about my recent skincare routine.

My skin is acne prone, oily, and sensitive. Since I was in junior high school, I always have  problem with acne. At that time, I went to an infamous dermatologist clinic. Every time I use their cream, my skin will get better, but when I try to stop, I had breakout all over my face even worse. So, I decided to stop using doctor’s cream and find other alternative. I’ve already tried so many brands but it didn’t work out. Until I saw some posts on some influencers about this brand. So, I decided to try this and turns out it worked really well.

First, I’m using La Roche Posay (made in France) Effaclar Duo all over my face in the morning and night. The texture is more like cream but not creamy. After using this for a month there is no breakout/purging at all at my face. So I try another brand which is Pyukang Yul, it is a korean brand made for sensitive skin (like me). I use the Essence Toner every morning and night. The texture is really nice, it is watery but a little bit thick. I apply this using both of my hand. Then I try another things from Pyukang Yul which is their Moisture Serum. The texture is more like liquid mix with cream but not thick. Next, Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop from another korean brand, Klairs. This is like another vitamin C serum, serum and easily absorbed. Their packaging is also nice and simple (i love it!). I also use Niacinamide  + Zinc from The Ordinary, this is more like serum but a little bit thick, and Good Genes from Sunday Riley, their texture is like smooth white watery.

So, my AM routine be like this:

  1. Cleansing gel from Bioderma (pink)
  2. Essence Toner from PKY
  3. Niacinamide from The Ordinary
  4. Effaclar Duo from La Roche Posay
  5. Moisture Serum from PKY
  6. Water Bank Eye Cream from Laneige
  7. Lip Sleeping Mask from Labiotte
  8. Sunscreen

My PM routine:

  1. Micellar Water from Bioderma (pink)
  2. Cleansing Oil from Shu Uemura
  3. Cleansing Gel from Bioderma
  4. Essence Toner from PKY
  5. Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop from Klairs
  6. Good Genes from Sunday Riley (only 2-3 times a week)
  7. Effaclar Duo from La Roche Posay
  8. Moisture Serum from PKY
  9. Water Bank Eye Cream from Laneige
  10. Lip Sleeping Mask from Labiotte
  11. Sheet Mask (3 times a week)

With these combo, my skin getting better and healthier (i think). It looks subtle and even glowing (I didn’t expect this at all). Even people around me told me that my skin is good! I am really happy to hear that since my skin was in such a bad conditions. Please note that you cannot use Niacinamide at the same time with Vitamin C, so it’s better if you use it in the different times. So, would you like to try?

Makeup Review: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle

Hello, everyone! Since a lot of people told me to do some blogging, I will start my first post reviewing this best seller concealer, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle.

As you can see, this concealer has a  sponge on the top. You can turn the collar to the left side, so the product will come out . Make sure you don’t turn the collar too much, because the more you turn, the more product will come out. Usually I only turn once to use it on my under eye and nose bridge.

I’ve been using this concealer since last year and I’m so in love with this concealer. Usually, I use shade 110 (Fair), but in this pic I use shade 160 (Brightener). Unfortunately, this product is not available in Maybelline Indonesia, but don’t worry, there are so many online shop who sell this concealer. It costs only around IDR 155.000-185.000.

So, my overall review for this product is 5/5.

PS: I will make some tutorial makeup on my youtube with this product, stay tune! 🙂
